Here's a new group of tunes. These are more on the rock/shoegaze side of things. I've been working on them for a while, having fun along the way, of course..... I think with each record I make, things sound a little better each time. You know what they say! Practice makes perfect. I'm turning 40 in a couple weeks, so I think I'm going to get some new gear. Maybe that'll help make things sound even better on the next one!

Here's the latest group of jams from DJ Large Keister (that's me). This collection of songs is a lot more eclectic than previous ventures. Its kind've like scanning through the radio. It moves from the opener (which actually scans through the radio, layered over acoustic guitar) to hip hop, punk, indie, jazz......etc. On and on it goes, 18 songs are featured on this release, so you get an idea of the variety of this record. This is kind've a family project, meaning I got my family to sing guest vocals on a couple of the jams.
We're all Keisters in the end. (No pun intended)  .....yea
My wife and I were listening to the local pop radio station and decided "we could do that"! So we wrote a couple songs that were aimed at that kind of audience, more poking fun at it, rather.... All this stuff is incredibly goofy, but it's got some sweet beats n there. Just forewarning everyone, take it with a grain of salt.

Part of a Hand

Curved and Brake

At long last!

I've been working on this record for about 6 months. Decided to take it slow and try to get everything sounding as good as I possibly could. I wrote and recorded all the music, sang on some songs, but this time I wanted to ask some good friends to sing as well, Brian Hake, Sean Gardner, Jim Takacs and Kevin Davison sang guest vocals on four of the tunes. I went into this thinking it would turn out to be a more accessible album. It turned out to be a different kind of indie/pop record.
